The Mission of CINCCH is:
By engaging Veterans and VA partners in conducting high quality, innovative research and through the training of future VA health services researchers, we seek to improve health care delivery and outcomes for Veterans with complex chronic conditions. We define complex chronic care to include Veterans with complex needs and life circumstances (e.g., lifelong disabilities) and those who use multiple sources of care (e.g., VA, Medicare, non-VA care).

Innovative Studies
Our innovative work includes the use of direct observation methods to evaluate care delivery and patient experience.
Our additional activities have considerable overlap and synergy with our primary research foci, through sharing of expertise and methods. These include efforts related to infection control and antibiotic stewardship in other populations, care delivery models for conditions including kidney dialysis patients, and early work on employee engagement.
