Bella Etingen is a research investigator within the Center of Innovation for Complex Chronic Healthcare (CINCCH) at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Dr. Etingen received her PhD in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2016; the primary focus of her doctoral work was the impact of primary care/mental health integration on healthcare delivery and outcomes for Veterans with PTSD. Dr. Etingen is also an adjunct instructor within the Department of Psychology at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Etingen’s research interests include issues around experiences of stress and trauma, innovative programs and interventions for behavioral health care, partnering with Veterans to optimize VA research processes and develop interventions, spinal cord injury care, connected care technologies and Whole Health.
